The current workforce of LSE is about 230 (increase of 30 staff since end 2009). LSE has created employment opporturnities to locals (99% of LSE staff local). The Projected manpower requirement for projects is expected to Increase to 300 within 2011 and will further increase to 400 within 2012.
In line with our rapid growth and business expansion, we invite suitably qualified individuals for the following position: -
HEAD OF OIL & GAS SERVICES
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting directly to the CEO, you would be instrumental and responsible for the set up, development and management of the O&G project division. You would play a key role in various activities of the division from business development to securing O&G projects as well as the management of time, cost and quality aspects of the projects. You would also need to keep management updated not only with the status of the various activities of the division but also on external factors affecting the company on a continuous and timely manner.
REQUIREMENTS
- • BSc. in Engineering or equivalent. Those with professional qualification will be given preference.
- • At least 15 years experience in O&G major fabrication projects in Sr. Management post.
- • Well verse in planning, design and relevant project system software.
- •Competent with technical and specification standards – API, ASME, BS, DIN, AWS, PTS and other international standards.
- • Significant knowledge and experience in commercial aspects of projects including procurement and contract management.
- •Strong business acumen and result oriented.
SENIOR EXECUTIVE (BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT)
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identification and development of new business opportunities within oil & gas and the general energy sectors
• Establish new and build upon existing client relationships
• Managing and maximizing sales opportunity.
• Input to preparation of commercial proposals and negotiation to successful conclusion
• Actively attending networking and industry events
REQUIREMENTS
- • Bsc. Engineering or equivalent
- • Min 5 years in Oil & Gas industry (both Up & Down Stream Sector)
- • Excellence in Microsoft Office, Project and other related software.
- • Familiar with international standard i.e. API, ASME, DIN, ASTM, ANSI and etc.
- • Commercial knowledge of dealing with proposals management and contract negotiation
- • Excellent presentation and communication skills
WELDING ENGINEER
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- • Plan optimum welding process, recommend optimum welding specifications, recommend weld repairs, advise process solutions, procedures and parameters to achieve desired quality and productivity yield.
• Provide fixture and tooling support to the operations and evaluate, select and specify welding equipment features & options.
• Prepare and compile Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Record (PQR).
• Conduct new welding procedure qualification and welder/welding operator performance test.
• Directs and coordinates technical personnel in performing inspections to ensure workers' compliance with establish welding procedures, restrictions and standards.
REQUIREMENTS
- • Diploma/Degree in Welding Technology/Mechanical Engineering
- • NDT Level II/Welding Inspector or equivalent
- • 3-5 years experience as Welding Engineer
- • Good knowledge of ISO9000/ASME Sec. IX, EN15614, AWS D1.1, etc.
- • Familiar in welding consumable used for different types of base materials i.e. carbon steel, austenitic/duplex steel, low alloy steel, nickel alloy, etc.
